At every juncture, life will ask you a prime… premium question:

How Bad Do You Want It?

Every minute of every day with every action, every response, every consideration, you answer the question. You tell life what to do for you and how to do it. You tell life if you’re ready or if you’re faking. You tell life if you’ll fight or if you’ll flee. You tell life what type of GLADIATOR you are OR if you’re a punk of the grandest kind.

Every minute of every day, you tell life…

If You’re Walking!!!

OR if you’re just Talking.

Before we move on, picture your graaaandest vision in life, and ask yourself:

How Bad Do You Want It?

Before that answer matters to any of the rest of us, YOU need to know.
YOU need to know what you WILL do (and what you won’t) in order to get all that life’s got with YOUR name on it.

You see…
Some of us don’t want it bad enough. Some of us don’t really want it at all. Some of us would rather pretend like success and WINNING are important when what really matters to us is how we look compared to others. We use visual analyses of other people’s lives to determine where we should be without valuing the process it took to get them there.

So! How Bad Do You Want It?

Did you ask the question? Did you determine how far YOU are willing to go? Did it matter to you how YOU will feel if you don’t win? Did you care if anything stood in the way? OR Are you the type that asks a billion questions vs. the type that creates a billion solutions?

I’d like you to be a solution-builder vs. a problem-creator, yet some of us create more problems than we realize by asking too many doggone questions. There is this song that my mind often references…

Why you asking all them inquiries?

Why you asking all them questions?
Why you asking all them questions?

Makin’ STATEments

ASSumin’

Askin’ all them questions…. Why?

What good does it do?

What purpose does it serve?

A

We lie when we tell ourselves that asking questions gets us closer to answers. FACT: It doesn’t. Asking questions has NEVER provided a solution… ACTION bring solutions… even if the action is as seemingly small as listening. Actions bring about solutions, and solutions create progress.

Problems create obstacles. Obstacles could actually be stairsteps of learning should we choose to view them as such, yet I have increasingly found that those who ask the most questions are also those seeking to find the least solutions. #MESSAGE!!!! These are the people who miss the value in obstacles.

Think about that…

“Do my questions lead me to solutions?”

OR “Do my questions leave me stuck?”

And yes… solution-builders have questions too, YET… we spend MORE time WORKING on SOLUTIONS than we do dwelling on problems. This is a key difference my friends! A! KEY! Notice the difference here… WORK leads to progress and ultimately success, while questions leave you STUCK,

                 sitting there,

on a couch,

                                 tweedling your thumbs,

watching life and everything else pass you by.

…to be continued…
